Feedback?
Hello Everyone! As most of you already know, I am the PI on an NSF grant that gives scholarships to students and
supports them through internship/authentic experiences. I designed and
submitted the grant proposal and this is the first semester of
implementation. We made our first awards last week and I am just
dealing with all the glitches in setting up a new system for the first
time. I am excited though, it is my intention to follow this research
through and use it in my dissertation. If you have any interest, feel
free to check out the mentor/internship network I have set up for the

This is a blog network based on experience I had with mentoring
students through undergraduate research experiences - you can check out

I am attempting to create an online cohort for these students as most
are non-traditional and the typical university model cohort hasn't worked
well with this population in the past. Any feedback you happen to have
would be most welcome.

Nice work Amanda, the blog looks good. Good luck with the research project. Hope your enjoying the coursework, I am glad there are only two week left of this one. A nice short break at Xmas will be good. Are you keeping up with the reading in the history course. It is killing me at the moment but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

ReplyDeleteI'm having to do a considerable amount of "skimming" to keep up, unfortunately... That last paper was brutal! I am so ready for the break ;P As a matter of fact, I am writing to you as I procrastinate finishing my "showcase" presentation - ha. Hope life is treating you well!
